As a photographer, I have the privilege of capturing the beauty and diversity of life through my lens. I get to witness and document some of the most amazing moments and experiences that this world has to offer. But I also realize that not everyone has the same opportunities and access that I do. That’s why I believe it’s important to give back to the communities and causes around me.
I volunteer, donate my time and skills to various charities and not-for-profit organizations that are making a positive difference in the world. Some of the organizations that I support are:
ProAction Cops & Kids, which brings cops and kids together in skill-building and mentoring programs to create trust, respect and safer communities.
Eden Food for Change, which is committed to increasing access to good food in a dignified manner, developing food skills to encourage healthy eating and empowering the community through education, outreach and advocacy.
Fetch + Releash, which is a volunteer-run dog rescue that matches dogs to loving families. Their dogs come from all over the world and include strays, surrendered pets, and dogs from pounds and high-kill shelters. -
The Kidney Foundation of Canada, which is dedicated to achieving excellent kidney health, optimal quality of life, and a cure for kidney disease.
By giving back, I hope to use my photography as a tool for social change and awareness. I want to inspire others to join me in supporting these worthy causes and make the world a better place for everyone.
