I had the pleasure of photographing my dear friends Ben and Jade at the historic Gladstone House in Toronto. Their wedding blended modern style with vintage touches, perfectly matching Ben’s sharp suit and Jade’s beautiful dress.

A Venue Full of Character and Warmth

Gladstone House offered such a warm, character-filled backdrop for their celebration. Its intimate layout and iconic brick façade felt like the perfect setting for their personalities and the energy of the day.

Details That Made the Day Their Own

The intimate space was filled with so many fun and unique elements. Guests enjoyed playing on arcade machines, including Frogger, which holds special meaning as it was the game Ben and Jade played on their first date. There were disposable cameras for everyone to capture candid moments, and a nighttime candy and snack table that kept everyone’s sweet tooth satisfied. One of the groomsmen even surprised the bride with a custom art piece at the end of the night, adding a personal and heartfelt touch to the celebration.

A Personal Connection to This Wedding

I’ve had the pleasure of knowing Ben and Jade for many years. I’ve captured their engagement sessions and was there when they brought home their pup, Henry, who made a brief but adorable appearance at the wedding. The Gladstone Hotel provided a wonderful atmosphere with its beautiful table layouts and a stunning floral piece that served as the centerpiece for their ceremony.

As a friend and photographer, I couldn’t have been more proud and happy for Ben and Jade. Ben is not only a great friend but also a professional colleague. We’ve worked together on various commercial and event settings through the agency he works for, which has hired me for numerous jobs.
